I love books. I love hearing when my friends have a new book releasing. I love discovering new authors. I love browsing the bookstore and seeing the covers. I love walking up to the counter with an arm load of books that I’m just dying to read. I love opening a book and diving into new characters and new worlds! And most of you reading this blog feel the same way.
So, let’s talk about books we’ve read this past week. I love to share and hear what others are reading!
I just read Erin Quinn’s HAUNTING BEAUTY. (Yes, yes, I’m late reading this one, I know!) OMG! This book had so many twists and turns that you didn’t know what was real, what was imagined, or how the hell the characters would ever have their HEA. I couldn’t put the book down.
It was a fabulous read, and I’m dying for the next book – HAUNTING WARRIOR (and that cover! Wow!)! If you like for authors who take you on so many twists and turns that you don’t know which way is up, then this book is for you!
I also somehow found the time to read another book by one of my favorites – Stephanie Laurens. I just love Stephanie’s books and the first in her new Black Cobra Quartet – THE UNTAMED BRIDE – did not disappoint.
But really, when has a Stephanie Lauren’s book ever disappointed? This woman has amazing talent, and she’s an auto buy for me. I loved UNTAMED BRIDE and how the heroine was as strong willed as the hero. I also thoroughly enjoyed the emotional intensity and the intense attraction which was wonderful to read. Another I highly recommend.
I’ve got the second book, THE ELUSIVE BRIDE, in my TBR pile that I hope to get to very soon! (among many others that I’m dying to read!)
Unfortunately, all I was able to read were these two books. 
Since I’m in the middle of writing the 5th Dark Sword book, my reading time drops considerably.
So, tell me about the books you read last week. However, if you didn’t like a book, please don’t be mean about it. Author’s put their heart and soul into books, and we do realize not everyone is going to like our work. But feel free to gush about the ones you loved!!

LOL, I deeply hooked into Lara Adrian now. I’m on the 4th book~~ in what, about 7 days?? I’m on Rio’s book, and about 1/3 of the way through…this series is GREAT. I think I won’t be able to stop until there are no more!!
And the FIFTH Warrior book?? OMG, you tease!! LOL, I just want the 2nd…NOW!!

I love finding new authors, all except for that makes my TBR pile too big lol! I have been reading Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning and The Highlander’s Bride by Michelle Sinclair.

I just finished Cynthia Eden’s Eternal Hunter and LOVED IT! Words can’t express the love I have for that book right now :-)
I also read Sophie Renwick and Cindy Miles’ short stories in the anthology A Highlander Christmas and both ROCKED!! This has been an awesome reading month so far!!!!!!!

Tamara – I love KMM, but haven’t read any of her Fever series.
Its first person and I just can’t get into that. And I so wish I could.

I feel like I should say, what didn’t I read this week? lol
Let me see. I read Lori Foster’s Back in Black and it was…So GOOD! Love those SBC books. Also read Alexandra Hawkins’ All Night with a Rogue which was a historical with a different angle. I really enjoyed that one too. Larissa Ione’s Ecstasy Unveiled and OMG…OMG, it was so good!
I know there are others, but I can’t remember them all right now, lol. I do have a big TBR pile right now too with several new releases I can’t wait to dig into.

Great opportunity to find out about some great books that I have missed.
I just read MOON CRAVING by Lucy Monroe. This was the second in her Children of The Moon and let me tell you, it is GREAT!!! Now off to read ECSTASY UNVEILED by Larissa Ione and after reading what Danica Avet wrote I don’t think I will be disappointed

I just finished ASHES OF MIDNIGHT by Lara Adrian. LOVED IT!
Right now I’m reading THE BELL AT SEALEY HEAD, a fantasy by Patricia A. McKillip. Her stories of magical places are so beautifully written.
Next up is DANGEROUS HIGHLANDER, which is in my TBR pile. I can hardly wait to read it!

I just finished up JR Ward’s BDB series, with Lover Enshrined and Lover Avenged. I’m starting her next series (with cross-overs) called Covet, but as amazing a writer as she is, it’s hard to get into.
I also just read a book called the Hunt by Anne Marsh, and it’s got great potential, but it’s not that great :( Being her first novel, I’m hoping that she improves by the next one, because the plot is pretty good, she just needs a bit more polishing I think.

I Just finished Dark Warrior Unleashed by Alexis Morgan. I am really enjoying her writing. This book is part of her Tailon series and she also has a Paladin series, both are fabulous.
Of course I can’t wait for your next book! Dangerous Highlander was fantastic.
