Cover Love!

I’ve been holding off showing this awesome cover for my first Dark Warriors book – the next path from the Dark Sword series.  It’s been revealed now!  If you’re on my forum, you got an advanced view of it.

Are you ready?

It’s so different from my Dark Sword covers, but I love it.  I love the colors and even the guy, despite no hunky muscles showing.  I also like how the girl’s eyes are looking.  She looks exactly how I pictured Gwynn in my head!

Coming *very* soon is the reveal for Ian’s book – MIDNIGHT’S LOVER – that will release back to back with MIDNIGHT’S MASTER.

The back cover copy will come in late December/early January.

I’ve had lots of questions as to why the change in the covers, the titles, and the series title.  All I can say is that all the answers are in Broc’s book DARKEST HIGHLANDER (Jan 31, 2012).

There are some huge twists people won’t see coming, but all I can ask is that y’all trust me.  Everything will come out in the next books of the Dark Warriors series.

Update!

I heard from my fabulously wonderful editor yesterday that she finished reading Ramsey’s book (MIDNIGHT’S WARRIOR) and “absolutely loved it!”  She also said it was her favorite out of all the books in the series.  She’s had other favorites, so this is really saying something.   Needless to say, I was very excited.  There are a few edits, but overall, nothing big.

I’ve been working on reading over and revising SHADOW MAGIC, the first in my Sisters of Magic trilogy that I’m re-releasing beginning November 1, 2011.  I haven’t done as much as I wanted due to the codeine infused cough medicine I’ve been taking. lol

My two fantastic assistants are helping me get everything in order for upcoming releases.  If you have an idea for a contest or anything for the forum, please email Leagh.

If you’re interested in having me at your blog to post or for an interview, and/or you’re interested in reviewing one of my upcoming ebooks, please email April.

Weekly Update

The countdown is on to the contest on my forum that begins tomorrow for the release of PRIMAL HEAT!  If you haven’t signed up for the forum, please do so.  I’ve got Halloween themed prizes, Amazon gift cards, and free ebooks!

It’s going to an all day contest, but if you’re busy tomorrow, don’t fear.  The contest will be open through Thursday, October 6th, with winners announced on Friday, October 7th.

Speaking of Halloween, do you have your decorations up yet?  My daughter and I was supposed to do that on Sunday, but I came down with a cold, so we’re putting it off until later this week.

Halloween is always a fun holiday, and though I decorate, I don’t go all out like I do for Christmas.  These two holidays are the only ones I do decorate for.

Update!

There’s so much news that I haven’t been able to share because I was without my blog working for awhile.  However, if you’re a member of my forum, follow me on FaceBook, or receive my newsletter, then you probably know most of the news.

I’ve gotten to see the covers for both Midnight’s Master and Midnight’s Lover, as well as learning the release dates – May 22, 2012 and June 26, 2012 respectively.

The covers are stunning!  Truly stunning.  I cannot wait to show them off…but that won’t be for a few months yet.  I’m going to do a big “Cover Reveal” sometime in February/March.  I’m so looking forward to hearing what y’all think of the covers.  I will admit – they are completely different from the Dark Sword covers.

I’m working on a new proposal this week on an idea I got last night as I was drifting off to sleep.  That happens a lot, I’ve noticed.  It’s that place between awake and asleep that my brain kicks into overdrive.  I’m eager to start this proposal and see what these four guys have planned.

I will give you a hint – they’re Highlanders.

lol.  Of course, right?!  I mean, who can resist a Highlander?  Apparently I can’t.

And next week I’ll be re-releasing my Halloween themed/werewolf novella – Primal Heat.  This was the first story I ever wrote that was set entirely in contemporary times.  I thought it fitting to release it during October, just in time for Halloween.

New Look

Hello, all!

It’s been awhile since I blogged because it seems that when I added my forum on my website that it prevented me from using my old blog.  So, not it just sits there.

However, since I’m doing an cool contest with the amazing Lisa Renee Jones, I had to have a blog.  Usher in this one. 

What do you think?  I’m liking the layout that my old blog didn’t have because I couldn’t update it.

So much going on this week.  Not only do I have copy edits for DARKEST HIGHLANDER, I’m also re-releasing the novella from The Mammoth Book of Scottish Romance – FOREVER MINE – tomorrow!

As exciting as that is, its nothing compared to knowing that this week, my awesome publisher, St. Martin’s Press, is doing a photo shoot for the cover of Ian’s book – MIDNIGHT’S LOVER (July 2012).

Oh, how I wish I could be there. I had to give descriptions of the heroine and hero, as well as what I wanted them wearing. Talk about exciting!  I can’t wait to see the finished product!!!
